Offshore Gas Field in Myanmar
Project Objective
- To review the current production surveillance and monitoring system
- To review the current production data management, well integrity management system and facilities
- To provide recommendations for improvements in production surveillance and monitoring system, topside facilities, production data management system, operating guidelines and procedures, and well integrity management system.
Project Scope
- Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment capacity check for topside production facilities, and identify any bottlenecks in the system.
- To perform a review and make recommendations for well integrity management including new well failure model framework.
- To perform a review and make recommendation(s) for production surveillance and monitoring system, production operation guidelines and procedures, and production data management system.
Project Result
- Identify gaps in Well Integrity Management System; provided recommendations to roll out new Well Integrity Management Standard (WIMS) & Well Integrity Management Manual (WIMM).
- To upgrade the high-frequency production (PI System) with a system that has Asset Framework and Web-Based Capability.
- Adopt ISO for new MAASP numbers in existing wells, perform risk assessment for non-compliant wells and implement well failure model.
- Identify gaps in Production Management System (PDMS); provided recommendations to update Production Allocation System Manual and to have a server-based relational database (SQL/ORACLE or equivalent) as a master data repository.
